Do you already have your cdl or just a permit?
If your at the permit stage there are companies that will pay for all of your training and possibly provide housing BUT you will be paying them back at several time what you "barrow".
If you can get your cdl on your own so your not locked into a year or muti year contract at starvation wages.
Most if not all training companies (assuming you have a cdl) do pay while your in training, I haven't checked in a long time but seem to remember it being between $3-500 per week depending on the company.

I have decided to get financial aid and go to a local driving school. It will take me longer due to the process of it all but id rather do it right. Thank you for replying.

Roehl has a program where they pay you while you're getting your CDL.
