Imron (or any of the other brands of polyurethane basecoat/clearcoats) is the top of the line paint for durability.
It's also very expen$ive, and highly toxic. Just in case anyone is considering using it DIY, I'd like to point out that when applying that type of paint, a full body suit with positive pressure respirator must be used, and no "spectators" allowed in the area of the fumes. .

I spent $12,000 to paint my old Pete.Had it done at 4 States and man they did a kick ass job.
I just had my 99 FLD painted 2 tone locally here in Chicago. It was originally dark blue and now it's white and lime green. Guy charged me $4500 and it's deff nice. Once I get a new camera I will post a pic of the new paint.
