$300/wk isn't a bad payment for lease purchase. There are other costs which you need to also include in your costs. CRST Malone requires a maintenance fund. That is also an expense. If you buy a truck you will still need to put a maintenance fund together. I am not a fan of lease purchase, but I think CRST Malone has one of the better ones. Since you are already in the program you may be better off sticking with it rather than going out and buying a 379. Either that or consider buying something more aerodynamic. The 379 isn't known for good fuel economy. You could increase your fuel costs by 25% with the difference in fuel economy from some of the aerodynamic trucks to the Pete. There are a lot of them on the market right now. You could probably get a good deal on one, but would likely spend the difference in lost fuel economy.
