Not sure zipy, but then again I was one of the ones who left  And truthfully I wish it wouldnt of come to that.I really would of loved to have stayed with them, once upon a time marten was a great outfit.Even though I dont think itll happen I hope they wake up and realize that average drivers are dispensible, but great ones are not.And marten had ALOT of great drivers, and they still have a few left, hopefully theyll wake up. When roger marten died and left the company to randy his son, thats when things began there decline.

Add me to this list also. Unfortunately, they're going downhill pretty fast.

(Whether its true or not i do not know)

But i talked with a OTR driver 2 days ago who said Marten

had brought in Knight in some capacity to "straighten things up."

He volunteered the info during our conversation while we were being

loaded.

This particular driver has been here 4.5 years.... he was on his way out
simply due to being burntout with OTR life

As long as the miles keep coming and the checks dont bounce I'll stick it out

I'm pretty sure they didn't bring Knight the company in. A couple guys left Knight and came over here to work, or something to that effect. 8) 8)

Default knight

ok heres what i know about the knight people yes a shirt and tie came to marten from knight. Back in either jan or feb not sure i was in the indy term and was talking to the new recruiter there because i was thinking about going regional. she told me her husband and herself came from knight to try and get marten to run more regional work as this is what knight did alot of. now i have not heard any thing more since i have been sitting on my butt waiting for this broken ankle to heal enough to get back on the road. not sure if it will be at marten i have two friends who have left marten since april due to the way things are.

What kind of problems are you guys having ? From my view I haven't seen any trouble, but I haven't really talked to any other drivers much and I've been to one terminal in the past 2 months, Mondovi on a weekend so I haven't heard anything. I can't even get through a terminal to pick up one of those new fan-dangled fuel stop books, I'll get one eventually, maybe. 8) 8)

Actually the new president of marten just came over from knight. But you are right, the actual company isnt taking over the company, just alot of its management has made the transition over to marten.
